The Inner City Education Foundation educational model stresses a holistic approach to encouraging maximum academic achievement for all students.  The key tenets to this model include the following:

1. High expectations for all students from school faculty and staff.

2. Rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum for all students; academic intervention through remediation where necessary.

3. Mandated parental involvement: Each family must dedicate 40 volunteer hours on-campus per school year.

This winning formula has catapulted ICEF schools to the tops of their academic categories within a very short period of time.  In 2005, ICEF schools ranked among the best schools in educating our target demographic of African American students throughout the entire state of California..
